LOCATION
The Fairmont Kea Lani is located on the South West side of the island in the beautiful beach town of Wailea. This area is home to some of the islands best world class resorts and properties like the neighboring Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, and Andaz. The Fairmont is towards the end of the beach and more secluded providing added peace and quiet. There is a beautiful beach walking path that connects you to the other resorts.
The hotel is a short 30 minute drive away from Maui International Airport. You can find a taxi or an uber to take you the resort but renting a car is always recommended as there is so much amazing things to do and see on Maui.
The Wailea Shopping Center home to world class shopping is only a short walk fro the resort. The property has beautiful Fairmont SUVs that can take you to the neighboring areas for dining or shopping.
THE PROPERTY
As you arrive to the main driveway of the property you will be surprised to see large pine trees! The main area and lobby has a very open air and large grand entrance. Upon arrival you will be greeted with their custom wood Hawaii Lei for you to wear and keep.
This is Hawaii's only luxury all-suite resort. There is a massive and grand tower featuring 400 one bedroom suites and 37 two story villa structures towards the back of the property down by the beach. The property has a lot of traditional Hawaiian and Polynesian designs with lavish and spacious grounds including beautiful gardens and fountains.
There is a beautiful fitness center with state of the art equipment as well as beautiful beach front lawn perfect for morning Yoga.
There are three main swimming areas. Two of the lagoon style pools are even connected by a water slide! The Upper Lagoon Pool has a swim up bar and the Lower Lagoon pool is a larger pool better suited for kids with a basketball hoop and water activities available. The third pool is an adults only serenity pool which features a hot tub and cabanas.
Head down to the secluded 600 foot white sand beach with lava rocks and warm yellow sand. Take a dip in the calm waters or head out with a snorkel and catch some of the friendly fish and turtles swimming. Come in the winter months to watch the Humpback Whales breaking just off the coastline. There are beach umbrellas, chairs, and complimentary reef safe sunscreen available. There are also Scuba, surf, and paddle equipment available for rent.
THE ROOMS
The luxurious all-suite property has just gone through a newly renovated upgrade.
The Suites are extremely spacious at over 850 square feet including a large bedroom, bathroom with shower and bath tub, as well as a living area. Additionally, the suites have beautiful decks which overlook beautiful views of the beach or mountain ridges.
For the ultimate group or family vacation, enjoy the two and three bedroom two story oceanfront villas. The villas are extremely spacious with full size kitchens and living rooms. Additionally, the villas have a plunge pool perfect after a day at the beach or bathing in the sun.
DINING
You will not go hungry at the Fairmont. Start your day off right with the breakfast brunch Buffett with omelette stations, delicious pastries, and multiple options including Japanese style breakfast.
Quick Bites can be found at the Makana Market + Cafe including coffee, snacks, deserts, or an açaí bowl. You can also get food brought to you poolside. Be sure to get their famous pineapple drink!
AMA Bar and Grill is located next to the upper lagoon perfect and perfect for casual local favorites in a relaxed setting.
Nick's Fishmarket Maui is an open air fine dining experience perfect for enjoying the local seafood.
KO is your go to place for local and sustainable dining which was awarded Restaurant of the Year in 2022. Enjoy Hawaiian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Chinese, and Filipino favorites.
